Hunger Baskets Will Be Passed Every Sunday this Summer In response to the growing human needs of our partners, we will be passing the hunger baskets every Sunday in June, July, and August. Money collected will be split between Reformation’s food programs, the Meru Diocese in Tanzania, and the Salvadoran Lutheran Church. Register Now: VBS August 3 - 7 This year's Vacation Bible School will be held Monday-Friday, August 3-7, 2009, 8:45-11:45 a.m. This promises to be another great week of fun and learning! Road to the Rockies: Road to the Rockies Mission Trip Worship: We are grateful to the congregation of St. Matthew’s for your support of this week-long event of faith growth, community building, and service. Please join us for worship on July 12 (8:30 & 10:15 a.m.) when we will share our experiences and stories. See photo of participants [here]. Fellowship Luncheon: Come enjoy some lunch on a Sunday after worship! The date is Sunday, July 12 at 11:30 a.m. We will be having sub sandwiches and social time. There will be a slideshow from the Youth Mission Trip during this time. The cost is $5 for ages 12 and up; $3 for ages 3-11 and ages 3 and under are free. Sign up using the Events Sign-Up panel in the weekly Bulletin or contact the church office. St. Matthew’s Men’s Golf Outing All men are welcome to play golf with other men on Friday, August 7 at Kettle Hills Golf Course, Richfield. The format will be a two-man scramble; the cost is $42/person. Sign up at the Information Center if you would like to play. Questions may be directed to Greg Laszewski (414-453-4473).
