Vigil of Easter - April 3
Easter Vigil Service “Darkness into Light” - 7:00 p.m.
Tracing the biblical and liturgical roots of the Easter celebration, St. Matthew’s offers a prayerful and uplifting service on this night before the Resurrection. The Vigil Service consists of three parts: a Service of Light, a Service of the Word and a Service of Baptism.
Easter Sunday - April 4
Join the faith community of St. Matthew’s as we gather to celebrate our hope and promise of Easter with special music, movement, proclamation, decorations and joy. Holy Communion is celebrated at all three services.
Join us for Easter Breakfast with continuous serving between 8:00 and 10:30 a.m.
Be a part of the Easter Celebration at St. Matthew’s.
Holy Communion: 7:00, 8:30 and 11:00 a.m.
Festive Easter Services
with Holy Communion and Festive Music.
Easter Flowers adorn the commons and nave of the church.
Easter Breakfast offered 8:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
Easter Breakfast will support the Youth going to the Blue Ridge Mountain Mission Youth Trip this summer. The menu will include all-you-can-eat Egg Bake (in meat, cheese, and vegetable varieties), fruit, donuts and rolls, juice, milk and coffee, served buffet style. There will be a cost of $5 per person. Plan to make the Easter Breakfast a part of your Easter Celebration!
