Senior Choir accepting more singers at this time: Be a part of St. Matthew’s vibrant music ministry!
Looking for a way to get involved with Ministry at St. Matthew’s? Consider becoming a part of the Ministry of Music by joining the Senior Choir. As we begin the second half of our singing season, we cordially invite any interested adults to join us.

Besides helping to lead the worship services on Sunday mornings, the choir is also planning an exciting set of joint concerts with Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Madison this May, participat­ing in the Passion Scenes on Passion Sunday, and providing special music for the rest of Holy Week and Easter Sunday. We are looking for singers in all voice parts, and there is no audition necessary.

New Generation Choir (grades 7 through 12)

The New Generation Choir is a great opportunity to sing the praises of our Lord with each other. A variety of musical styles are sung and we help in worship once a month.

The New Creation Choir presented an exciting musical drama based on the Noah and the Ark story, Noah’s Flood, on Sunday, April 25.

The gathering of the animals, played by the Praise Kids, continues the well-known story. The storm clouds begin to gather, the winds pick up and the rain begins. But in the end we know this story is about God’s everlasting covenant with us at the sign of God’s rainbow.

The New Creation Choir sings once a month and otherspecial times. The choir continues from the Praise Kids! to develop musicianship, knowledge of Church and singing. Having children lead us in worship is very important and we always welcome this group helping us praise our Lord. The NC Choir presents a musical each spring. Praise Kids! (4 years through Grade 2)

Meets on Thursday afternoons. Rehearsals resume in the fall. Watch for the schedule to be posted here.

We wish to offer you an invitation for your little one(s) to join in the music making here at St. Matthew’s—Praise Kids!

Our youngest church members can join in singing praises to our Lord. Praise Kids! offers all children who are age 4 [Jr. Kindergarten] through 2nd grade a chance to be part of the children’s ministry of the church. This group helps to teach our youngest about God, the church and family through musical games, activities, learning time and singing.

Jeff Reeves and Haley Picotte will lead our singers in age appropriate music education activities and singing. For more information please contact Jeff Reeves at the church.

Children from more school districts are able to join us after they get out of school. Jeff Reeves and Haley Picotte will lead our singers in age appropriate music education activities and singing.

WHY PRAISE KIDS? Praise Kids nurtures...
