Why we celebrate All Saints' Day
We are all saints as believers in our Lord and in His victory over death. In Christ all shall be made alive! We remember in prayer and thought and with candles those who have died in the Lord, especially from our faith community, since last all Saints Sunday.
Holy Communion, the visible sign of God’s presence and promises will be celebrated at all Worship Services -- 7:30, 8:30 and 11:00 a.m.
We remember those who have died in the Lord
on All Saints' Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011 at all services
On Sunday, Nov. 6, we pause to remember those of our congregation and loved ones who have died in the Lord since last All Saints' Sunday. It is a time that we entrust loved ones in the promises of our Lord. Photos of those who have died will be displayed near the altar. There will be special music and message for All Saints' Sunday, as well as a celebration of Holy Communion with the gathered community.
A listing of those connected with our congregation who have died since Nov. 1, 2010, is listed below and these saints will be remembered on Nov. 6 at the services.

Prayer of the Day
Almighty God, you have knit your people together in one communion in the mystical body of your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Grant us grace to follow your blessed saints in lives of faith and commitment, and to know the inexpressible joys you have prepared for those who love you, through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.
