Christian worship is always a journey of the mind, heart and will into the Presence of God. At the heart of our Christian faith is the need to know God through experiencing the presence and power of God. We gather to praise God, confess our sins and receive God's forgiveness, hear God's Word, share the sacraments, and we go forth in commitment and service.

The heartbeat of a congregation is found in its weekly time of worship. St. Matthew's organizes its worship emphasis around the Christian liturgical year and special occasions. The emphasis in our celebrating is to experience God's grace to us through Jesus Christ. Our congregation expresses that worship by including all ages and interests. Special attention is paid to the worship opportunities for children.

Sunday Worship: 7:30 am, 8:30 am and 11:00 am.
(Our summer schedule begins in June through after Labor Day -- 8:30am and 10:15am)

Holy Communion: All who believe in the presence of our Lord in the Sacrament of Holy Communion are invited to partake of the meal given by our Lord. The schedule is as follows:

1st Sunday of the Month:
Served at all worship services

2nd Sunday of the Month:
No Communion

3rd Sunday of the Month:
Served at the latest worship service

4th Sunday of the Month:

Baptism: With Holy Communion this is the 2nd of our two Sacraments. It is offered to infants, youth or adults upon arrangements with the pastors. Upon speaking with the pastors you will receive information about Baptismal classes and you can schedule a time for the baptism during a worship service. Baptism is offered during Non-communion services.

Weddings: They are conducted for anyone. There is an informational booklet with related details, suggestions, music options, and costs.
