St. Matthew's grew up with Wauwatosa and continues to serve a
changing, growing community. It is a church with a history, having been founded
in 1920, and a church with a vision for the future. Our active ministry carries
on a rich tradition and at the same time meets the needs of people today. We are
a church concerned about others, concerned about growth in spirituality, about
families, and about human struggles and difficulties. We work at being a caring
community. Worship is central to our life together. Visit with us, and share
our vision through the many opportunities offered at St. Matthew's. St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church is a member of the Greater Milwaukee Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).
