Or do you play ping pong once a year? Then please join us at Spin in Milwaukee’s Third Ward on Sunday, Feb. 19, 1:30-3:30 p.m. for some ping pong and fellowship time. We will meet at St. Matthew’s at 1:00 p.m. for those who want to carpool, or you can meet us there. You will need money for food and/or beverage. Yoga classes resume
Yoga Classes have begun. They are held on Wednesdays, 7:00- 8:000 p.m. on the third floor of the education wing. These classes are free and are taught by Kelly Kirtley. Everyone’s welcome. Bring a mat.

 

Annual Meeting of the Congregation, Jan. 22, 2012
The Annual Meeting of St. Matthew's Congregation was held Sunday, Jan. 22. Among the items on the Agenda:

• Election of new council members (see below)
• Approval of the 2012 Budget
• Report from the MET Team - first meeting held January 8 [more]

• Report from the Building Committee including architect selection

Thank you for church decorating and "undecorating"
A great big thank you to everyone who helped to decorate the church for the Christmas season. And thank you to those who helped put the decorations away, too. The work went quickly thanks to all those who helped.

There were lots of exciting events on Rally Sunday 2011: The Youth Drama Group presented the day's Gospel in dramatic form, the Adult Forum featured Yair on Israel, and there was a special Rally Day event at the 8:30 a.m. worship service.
