Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011, was another active day at St. Matt's. During the Rotational Sunday School, 1st through 5th graders were introduced to the parables of the mustard seed and yeast as symbols of the kingdom of heaven; the children worked on an art project that was a representation of a tree next to the tiny mustard seed from which it grew. During the Adult Forum, Pastor Gary led the third of three sessions on the "Afterlife" [video online here]. Volunteers prepared lunches for Repairers of the Breach. There was the Second Annual Toy Swap. Pastor Gary read the Gospel and preached also on that day. Thank you to Pastor Chris for the photos and the pastors, group leaders and teachers for their dedication and involvement in the many ministries of St. Matt's.
