Reformation Summer Youth Work Program 2010
Below are photos of the Reformation Summer Youth Work Program. Photos include a visit to the Urban Ecology Center in Washington Park (page 1). We worked hard – pulled a lot of weeds, dug out buckthorn, laid down a ton of mulch and picked up garbage. The youth also worked in the neighborhood for two days (page 2). (Photos by Jill Hughes)
There was some recreation, too. They took a break and went swimming at Lincoln Park. Some of the group attended the bee keeping trip one week. The rest of the group will go later in the summer. The kids were able to go canoeing – only a few ended up in the pond! It’s been hot and humid but the kids are hanging in there and working hard!
