Adult Forum Video - Book of Faith: How we read the Bible

On Feb. 14 and Jan. 17, the Adult forums were lively panel discussions on the four ways to approach reading the Bible. Each approach has its strengths and will be beneficial to all readers of the Bible. The four methods that will be explored are: Devotional, Historical, Literary and Lutheran Theological Reading. The sessions were filmed by Randy Suchy. Videos of both sessions are available below.

Facilitator: Dan Bice
Panel Members: Pastor Gary Erickson (Literary) Doug Kreckling (Devotional), Jason Roberts (Historical), Pastor Margaret Schoewe (Lutheran Theological)

NOTE: It may take a few moments for the video to load and play. Please be patient. To start the video, click the arrow below or in the middle of the video screen.
Controls for stopping, playing and adjusting the volume are part of the video player. The video can also be seen in "full screen" mode using the little control button (it looks like an "x" with a dot in the middle). Note: Portions have low volume; you may have to adjust your sound controls accordingly.

Handouts for the session have been combined into one PDF document to view, download or print [here]. (Some of the materials are the same as the Jan. 17 handouts.)
