Building Needs Assessment Team to Make Report at the Annual Meeting, Jan. 23
The Building Needs Assessment Team shared a report on their study of the building needs for ministry and maintenance as well as aesthetics. A report and information will be shared at the Annual Congregational Meeting, Sunday, Jan. 23.
The team asked for congregational input as well as staff input, done an existing room/floor space study, looked at Sunday morning use of the building with allocation of space, looked at a preliminary case study, and prioritized projects. Some of the priorities include HVAC, office space and coordinating space, a new main church kitchen location, education space along with youth and the lower commons, music space, security issues, updating the education building, technology issues, nursery location, storage and recycling collection areas. These are the areas that reflect some of our needs.
The team has also explored the use of existing space along with the addition of space with new construction additions. These have been some of the accomplishments of the Building Needs Assessment Team.
The Building Needs Assessment Team consists of: Paul Braun, Ed Bross, Ray Eisemann, Wendy Falk, Tim Nelson, Mike Quist, and Al Van Lith.
