St. Matthew’s is partnering with Habitat for Humanity and Thrivent Builds to build a new house

in the Harambee North area of Milwaukee (located in the 3100 to 3200 blocks of N. 6th and N. 7th streets)

St. Matthew’s has committed $10,000 and will work every Saturday from mid-May through the fall until

completion. This is an exciting project to get involved in. Working with Habitat is a great opportunity

for individuals and small groups alike. The only skill you need is a willingness to learn and try.

On Sunday April 29th during the Adult Education Hour, a representative from Thrivent Builds will be

with us to explain the process and answer questions. Also, our blitz week will be May 14th – May 18th.

Get involved. Sign-up on the Habitat Board in the commons to help a day or two during the Blitz week or

work a Saturday. We’ll need everyone’s help to build this house!
